Start with a good base diet — either a high-quality mouse seed mix or lab blocks. Seed mixes offer variety but mice will pick favorites. Lab blocks prevent selective eating. Many experienced keepers use both.
Fresh Food: Small Amounts, Real Value
- Vegetables: broccoli, kale, carrot, cucumber, cooked sweet potato
- Leafy greens: spinach, parsley, dandelion leaf, romaine
- Protein: cooked plain chicken, a small piece of hard-boiled egg
