1/2" Poly Trunk Line Kit

Product Description:

This Trunk Line Kit is the foundation of a flexible, expandable irrigation system—perfect for larger gardens or complex layouts with multiple zones. Available in either 50 feet or 100 feet of durable ½-inch poly tubing, this kit allows you to deliver water from your source—whether it’s a raised reservoir or pressurized pump system—to several key locations throughout your garden.

Connecting to a raised reservoir

For a gravity-fed setup, use the Raised-Reservoir Bulkhead Fitting to connect your reservoir to this trunk line kit. The bulkhead creates a threaded outlet through the reservoir wall; use matching connection fittings to join it to the poly tubing.

Connecting to a pressurized water source

For a faucet or other pressurized supply, choose a pressure reducer for the watering kits your trunk line will feed:

• Whole System Adjustable Pressure Reducer — adjustable pressure with a gauge and a trunk-line connection adapter.
• 0.5-bar Blumat Pressure Reducer · ¾-inch hose inlet and outlet — the fixed-pressure model listed as 7.5 PSI in our catalog.
• 15 PSI Blumat Pressure Reducer · ¾-inch hose inlet and outlet — a fixed 1-bar option.

The two fixed-pressure models above have a ¾-inch female hose-thread inlet and a ¾-inch male hose-thread outlet. Use the matching connection fittings to join the outlet to your poly trunk line. Choose the output pressure to match the watering components in your system.

Using a raised reservoir instead? Use the Raised-Reservoir Bulkhead Fitting for the reservoir connection. The bulkhead creates an outlet through the reservoir wall; it does not reduce pressure.

Each kit includes up to six ½-inch to 8mm reducing tees with shutoff valves, so you can create distinct irrigation zones exactly where you need them. From there, you’ll connect 8mm Blumat Superflex tubing to complete your system using one of our 8mm Supply Kits (sold separately), which include the tubing and shutoffs needed to feed your individual beds or rows.

This kit keeps things simple and scalable:

• Start with a central trunk line (main line)

• Branch off to each zone head using reducing tees with shutoffs

• Complete each zone using 8mm Superflex and Blumat sensors

Whether you're irrigating beds, pots, or rows, this kit gives you a clean, organized way to manage multiple zones from a single water source.
