2 Alocasia 'Metalhead' (Portora × Lauterbachiana) Starter Plants – Bare Root Live Plants

Add an exceptional tropical hybrid to your indoor plant collection with this set of 2 Alocasia 'Metalhead' starter plants. Alocasia 'Metalhead' is a hybrid developed in Apopka, Florida, from a cross between Alocasia 'Portora' and Alocasia lauterbachiana. It is admired for its dramatic upright foliage, bold veining, and distinctive architectural appearance, making it a standout choice for collectors.

This listing includes 2 healthy starter plants with fully established root systems. Plants are grown in 2-inch nursery pots for cultivation but are not fully rooted into the pots. Each plant ships bare root with its original soil pod carefully wrapped to help protect the root system during transit. Please do not remove or disturb the soil pod upon arrival.

Alocasias are naturally sensitive to shipping and may experience some leaf loss during transit. This is normal for the genus. As rhizomatous plants, healthy specimens typically produce new growth from their underground rhizomes under suitable growing conditions.
