2 Exact Alocasia Black Velvet Starter Plants – Alocasia reginula ‘Black Velvet’

This listing includes 2 exact Alocasia Black Velvet live starter plants (Alocasia reginula ‘Black Velvet’). This tropical aroid is known for its distinctive dark, velvety foliage with prominent contrasting veins and a compact, upright growth habit.

You will receive the specific plants pictured in this listing. Because these are living and actively developing plants, they may gain or lose leaves between the time the photographs are taken and the shipping date. Leaf count, foliage density, coloration, and overall appearance may therefore change naturally before shipment.

These are starter plants grown in 2-inch nursery pots, but the pots are NOT included. They are not fully rooted throughout the 2-inch nursery pots. The source information contains conflicting shipping statements: the product-specific text says the plants are shipped in pots, while the Shipping Notice states that the pots are not included and plants are shipped bare root. The exact root-packing method should be confirmed before publishing; no soil pod or root plug should be claimed unless that packaging method is verified.

Plant Condition Disclosure:

Live plants may be shipped dormant, leafless, recently pruned, bare root, or partially defoliated depending on season, weather, and shipping requirements.

Natural variation in size, branching, foliage density, color, root structure, and overall appearance should be expected.

Important Note:

You will receive a live starter plant (seedling/young plant). Listing photos show the plant at a mature stage for reference only. The actual plant size, shape, and appearance may vary and will be significantly smaller than the images shown.

Exact Plant Clarification: This is an exact-plant listing. You will receive the specific plants pictured, although they may have gained or lost leaves or otherwise changed naturally since the photographs were taken.

Customer Notice:

Live plants may experience normal shipping stress such as leaf loss, yellowing, wilting, or minor branch damage.

Please consider local weather before purchasing. Extreme heat, freezing temperatures, severe weather, shipping delays, or unattended packages may increase plant stress.

Due to the perishable nature of live plants, returns are generally not accepted. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide the required photos for review.

If there is an issue with your order, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

• Photos of the shipping box
• Photo of the shipping label
• Clear photos of the plant from multiple angles
• Scratch test photos if the plant appears dead or dormant

Dormant, stressed, defoliated, wilted, or transit-shocked plants are not automatically considered dead.

Claims submitted without required photos may not be eligible for review.

Claims submitted more than 48 hours after delivery will be considered accepted as received and may not be eligible for replacement or refund.
