2 Ludisia discolor (Jewel Orchid) Starter Plants – Bare Root Live Jewel Orchids

Add one of the most distinctive foliage orchids to your collection with this set of 2 Ludisia discolor (Jewel Orchid) starter plants. Unlike orchids grown primarily for their flowers, Ludisia discolor is prized for its velvety dark green leaves highlighted by shimmering metallic veins. Its compact growth habit makes it an excellent choice for terrariums, decorative containers, and indoor tropical plant collections.

These starter plants have been grown from tissue culture and are not cuttings. Jewel Orchids naturally produce roots very slowly, so the root systems may be very small or only lightly developed at the time of shipping. Despite their slow root development, the plants are healthy and ready to continue establishing after planting.

Plants are grown in 2-inch nursery pots for cultivation but are not fully rooted into the nursery pots. Each plant is shipped bare root with its original soil pod carefully wrapped to help protect the developing root system during transit. Please do not remove or disturb the soil pod upon arrival.
