Calathea Red Peacock 2 Live Starter Plants – Goeppertia makoyana

This listing includes 2 Calathea Red Peacock live starter plants. Often associated with peacock-type Calatheas, this tropical ornamental is grown for its decorative patterned foliage and compact, clumping growth habit.

According to the supplied product information, these young plants have fully established root systems. You will receive 2 starter plants similar to those represented in the listing photographs. Natural differences in leaf count, foliage pattern, coloration, root structure, and overall appearance should be expected.

These plants are associated with the seller's 2-inch starter format. The supplied notice states that starter plants are inserted into 2-inch nursery pots but are not fully rooted into those temporary pots. The product-specific description says the plants will ship in soil pods and that the pods should not be disturbed.

The separate generic shipping notice states that nursery pots are not included and plants ship bare root, which conflicts with the product-specific soil-pod statement. Final soil-pod versus bare-root shipping condition should be verified before publishing.

The source also contains both “the smaller plant you see is the plant you get” and “you will receive a plant similar to the one pictured.” Because these statements conflict, the listing should not be described as an exact-plant listing unless confirmed by the seller.

Plant Condition Disclosure:

Live plants may be shipped dormant, leafless, recently pruned, bare root, or partially defoliated depending on season, weather, and shipping requirements.

Natural variation in size, branching, foliage density, color, root structure, and overall appearance should be expected.

Important Note:

You will receive a live starter plant (seedling/young plant). Listing photos show the plant at a mature stage for reference only. The actual plant size, shape, and appearance may vary and will be significantly smaller than the images shown.

Customer Notice:

Live plants may experience normal shipping stress such as leaf loss, yellowing, wilting, or minor branch damage.

Please consider local weather before purchasing. Extreme heat, freezing temperatures, severe weather, shipping delays, or unattended packages may increase plant stress.

Due to the perishable nature of live plants, returns are generally not accepted. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide the required photos for review.

If there is an issue with your order, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

• Photos of the shipping box
• Photo of the shipping label
• Clear photos of the plant from multiple angles
• Scratch test photos if the plant appears dead or dormant

Dormant, stressed, defoliated, wilted, or transit-shocked plants are not automatically considered dead.

Claims submitted without required photos may not be eligible for review.

Claims submitted more than 48 hours after delivery will be considered accepted as received and may not be eligible for replacement or refund.
